Founded over 50 years ago by Michael Arra Sr., Carmella Arra and Michael’s brother Jack Arra Sr., the first salon opened in Lyndhurst, Ohio and was an immediate success with the upscale east suburban clientele. With the talented and artistic leadership of the two brothers, the salon soon outgrew its location and expanded into the Eastgate Shopping Center in Mayfield Heights. The Chagrin Falls salon opened in the early 70’s with a Great Northern Mall salon in North Olmsted and then a salon in Hudson. Eventually, as the families grew, Michael Sr. and his sons consolidated into the now doubled-in-size Chagrin Falls Salon and Spa, and Jack Sr. moved his family business north to Lake County.
The Chagrin Falls Salon has been enormously successful and is now led very ably by Michael Jr. and his brother Jack Jr., and they are joined by Michael’s wife Diana and their daughter Michelle.
Michael and Jack have assembled a truly artistic, creative, knowledgeable and hard-working team of hair designers and estheticians capable of meeting a clients every need. The Arras hold continuing education classes on a regular basis, attend trade shows and ateliers throughout the year in order to consistently bring the latest in trends and innovations to the salon, while staying attentive to the clients’ basic needs.
The Arra client enjoys service and creativity beyond expectations in both the hair salon and spa. Spa services include complimentary use of the spa relaxation facilities, a private locker, steam room, shower facility and personal care amenities.
Gift certificates are available for all services in all denominations. We offer evening and weekend appointments, special accommodations for groups, last-minute appointments, and always, a staff trained in the very latest techniques and chemical procedures.
